SAD NEWS FROM UMUOSU AND AMIBO.

This is sad news coming from the home front of Ogbuehis in Umuime, Umuosu Ubakala. One of their sons Elder Boniface Ogbuehi is dead

He died on 9th January, 2023, just three months after the burial of his mother.

Late Boniface Ogbuehi, who was the elder brother' of late Godfrey Ogbuehi has been battling with health challenge for the past five years. This explained why he retired back home from Lagos.

While in Lagos, he was an active member of OEAU Lagos, Alaocha Ubakala Development Union and by extension Ubakala Improvement Union, Lagos. He  played vital roles in the Oganihu Umuime Meeting, Lagos in the 90s.  He held various positions such as vice chairman and chairman and in consideration of his dedication and commitment to the cause of  Oganihu Umuime meeting Lagos, he was recommended for Eldership position in OEAU Lagos, in the early 2010s

A very affectionate and disciplined personality. He will be greatly missed by those who came in contact with him.

May his loving soul rest in peace in Jesus name.

UCHENNA UMEZURIKE- Umuokorie

For Umuosu, it was a double tragedy as the death of Uchenna Umezurike from Umuokorie Umuosu was announced barely a day after the demise of Elder Boniface Ogbuehi.

Uchenna Umezurike, who came  from London on visitation to his home town, Ubakala for the yuletide would not be going back to London alive as  he succumbed to the cold hands of death on 10th January, 2023.

According to source close to him, he has been battling with an undisclosed sickness for some few years now before he succumbed to the hands of death

Mr Umezurike, age 49, was survived by a wife.

UGOCHUKWU 'UMARU' AMOS -Amibo

It was all tears in  Amibo Ubakala's residence of Elder Ubadire Amos, when the news filtered in that  his son, Ugochukwu 'Umaru' Amos, a Soldier in the Nigerian Army had been killed by the bandits in Kastina, where he was serving his father land

This is such a tragic death of a  very vibrant and energetic young officer who clearly had a bright future ahead of him and so much to offer both in his career as well as personally.

He attended Ubakala Secondary School, Nsukwe and and University of Jos, before proceeding to Nigerian Defence Academy

OYOYO'S DEATH

Oyoyo was an Eziama born young man  with mental health challenge. He wandered around Apumiri market every day with his left hand drawing his trousers and making fun of  the traders in the market. When he became very sick, he was taken back to his village, where he gave up the ghost.

The news of his death was received with shock by the traders and from the comments they made about him show that he was loved  and cared for and would be sorely missed

We  used this medium to send our condolences to  the families, friends and well wishers of Elder Boniface Ogbuehi, Uchenna Umezuruike, Ugochukwu Amos and Oyoyo . We pray Almighty God to give them the fortitude to bear this great loss.
