MR UBOGU IVUE OLUSHOLA, ENUGU STATE POSTAL MANAGER JOINS THE LEAGUE OF SENIOR CITIZENS
Staff of Nigerian Postal Service, Enugu State gathered at the state headquarters, Ogui Road to honour the State Postal Manager, Enugu State, Mr Ubogu Ivue Olushola as he bowed out of the Nigerian Postal Service having reach the compulsory retirement age of 60 years and after 32 years of meritorious service.
The beauty of this retirement is that Mr. Ubogu left foot prints on the sands of time in the Nigerian Postal Service, where he served in various capacities in the course of his career. Known for his Spartan like lifestyle, in addition to virtues such as uprightness and incorruptibility, virtues that have turned him into house hold name in NIPOST.
He is a man of the people, who will be greatly missed for his resourcefulness at work and his friendly disposition to all and sundry. He worked for the organization for 32 years and throughout those years he has given his best for the organization. He stood tall in all the matters he handled and remain unblemished
He is known for his professional behavior, hard work, commitment and dedication to duty. Whatever the task was, he did it effortlessly.
He is a man of integrity, impecabble character, moral rectitude and inflexible honesty of purpose.
He has been a mentor and inspiration to many in his department (Inverstigation and Security Unit) and his influence has made an indelible impact on the younger generations of Investigation Officers in the organization.
At the well attended valedictory session, management staff, including his successor, Mr Friday Akoma., friends and well wishers of Mr Ubogu paid glowing tributes in torrents to the man who can aptly be described as a man of vision and mission.
Mr.Ubogu, who hails from Ertho Abraka in Ethiope East LGA, Delta State, began his career at the Nigerian Postal Service on the 31st of July, 1990 as an Investigation Officer 1 on salary grade level 09. He rose steadily through the ranks and was promoted to the rank of Deputy Director (I &S) on salary grade level 16 on 1st January, 2018.

He held various positions in the organization, transversing many territories before his last appointment as State Postal Manger, Enugu State in January, 2022. Other key positions he held during his sojourn in the Nigerian Postal Service include: (Mr. Ubogu, Osarenko and Asibe J.E in 2008)

We at Ubscope join the multitude of NIPOST staff to congratulate Mr Ubogu Ivue Olushola on his successful blemish-free career. We equally congratulate him on finishing the race in good health and sound mind, as many who started with him could not get to the end. Some died before they reach the finishing line, some were ignominiously retired or outrightly dismissed from service, while others were incapacitated by sickness or accident but God in his infinite mercies kept him through the thick and thin even unto the end.
