HRH EZE ANYAWOKO AT 100 YEARS


HRH Eze S.I Anyawoko, the Isiala 1 of Nsukwe Autonomous Community is one of those that have lived beyond the Biblical age of seventy years God promised man to live on the surface of the earth. He clocked 100 years recently and he is still  waxing very strong.

Although, the Bible says that longevity is not by our power, righteousness and good works, but a gift from God, however HRH can be said to have distinguished himself as a very honest, God fearing, hard working Royal father, highly reliable, self discipline and morally upright.


He is a quintessential family man, a man of the people, a leader with conviction, commitment, resolve and passion.

Above all he is 'Primus interpares' in the traditional rulers institution in Ubakala and has continued to make his wealth of experience and knowledge available to the younger generation of leaders to tap from


Nsukwe Community, was on 27th December, 2022 a beehive of activities as the centenary birthday celebration  of HRH took the center stage.  


The celebration attracted large number of Nsukwe people both home and abroad, as well as friends and well wishers including the Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Chinedum Orji ( aka Ikuku Oma) who was excited at HRH  attaining the magical age of 100 years, Just  as a writer puts it ''Clocking 100 years is like breaking a sports record  that has stood  unbroken for decades"

The celebration was highly eventful and filled with moments to relish. It featured presentation of chieftaincy awards to deserving individuals.

On Friday March 24, 2023,  Staff of Nigerian Postal Service, Enugu State gathered at the state headquarters, Ogui Road to honour the State Postal Manager, Enugu State, Mr  Ubogu Ivue Olushola as he bowed out of the Nigerian Postal Service having reach the compulsory retirement age of 60 years and after 32 years of meritorious service. WHEN UBAKALA IMPROVEMENT UNION, LAGOS CELEBRATED CULTURAL DAY

Amidst fun and funfair, Ubakala indigenes in Lagos celebrated this year Cultural Days The occasion, which was held at No 1, Osawa Drive, Okata, saw Ubakala residents in Lagos as well as their friends and well wishers from all walks of life trooped in their numbers to grace the occasion Among those in attendance were Bar. Chris Ezem, the SSG Abia State, who came all the way from Abia State, Engr. Nnamdi Ezeigbo, the M.D/CEO SLOT Systems and his beautiful wife, Nkechi Ezeigbo, Elder Friday Ogbuehi, the PG,U.I.U(F), High Chief C.E Ekeke, Patron Richard Onyekwere, Mr Ken.
