Saturday 31st December, 2022 was a great and happy day for High Chief Uwaoma Nzenwa Ndukuba, who held a superlative wedding ceremony for his beautiful daughter, Princess Maureen Chiamaka Uwaoma

Maurem, the first daughter of Chief Uwaoma Ndukuna had walked down the aisle with her heartthrob Chukwunonye. The solemnization took place at St Dominic Catholic Church. The wedding ceremony and reception followed  at the Umuosu Community Primary School.


It was a big and massive ceremony which saw  top politicians in the state,  members of Ubakala elite Club, Dynamic Friends of Nigeria and HRH Eze S.I Ibezim,the Evule Ukwu II of Umuosu stormed the event to dine and wine with Chief Uwaoma as his daughter got married. They did not only come to make an appearance, but sat for long and participated in every aspect of the day. They stood by one of their own.


The ceremony. was highly eventful and filled with moments to relish. It featured the cutting of white wedding cake, traditional marriage ceremony and a grand reception party.

On Friday March 24, 2023,  Staff of Nigerian Postal Service, Enugu State gathered at the state headquarters, Ogui Road to honour the State Postal Manager, Enugu State, Mr  Ubogu Ivue Olushola as he bowed out of the Nigerian Postal Service having reach the compulsory retirement age of 60 years and after 32 years of meritorious service. The beauty of this retirement is that Mr. Ubogu left foot prints on the sands of time in the Nigerian Postal Service, where he served in various capacities in the course of his  career. WHEN UBAKALA IMPROVEMENT UNION, LAGOS CELEBRATED CULTURAL DAY

Amidst fun and funfair, Ubakala indigenes in Lagos celebrated this year Cultural Days The occasion, which was held at No 1, Osawa Drive, Okata, saw Ubakala residents in Lagos as well as their friends and well wishers from all walks of life trooped in their numbers to grace the occasion Among those in attendance were Bar. Chris Ezem, the SSG Abia State, who came all the way from Abia State, Engr. Nnamdi Ezeigbo, the M.D/CEO SLOT Systems and his beautiful wife, Nkechi Ezeigbo, Elder Friday Ogbuehi, the PG,U.I.U(F), High Chief C.E Ekeke, Patron Richard Onyekwere, Mr Ken.
