COUNT DOWN TO 1ST EVULE UKWU DAY : SEVEN NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS OF HRH EZE (DR) S.I IBEZIM

HRH Eze (Dr) S.I Ibezim will on Wednesday 28th December, 2023 celebrate the Anniversary of his ascension of throne. He was elected the Traditional Ruler of Umuosu Autonomous Community, on 26th December, 2018, given staff of office by the Executive Governor of Abia State in April 2020 and coronated the Traditional Ruler of Umuosu Autonomous Community with the title Evule Ukwu II of Umuosu Autonomous Community on 28th December, 2020. 

To celebrate this iconic Monarch, who has become  an epitome of pride and identity for Umuosu people, Ubscope highlights seven of his notable achievements that endeared him to Umuosu people to elect him as their traditional ruler.

1. HRH is well read. He has in his kitty about eight professional certificates and degrees he obtained from different tertiary institutions he attended. They include RND, CHO/RHPN,B.SC, MPA,DSC, he earned from the following schools: School of Health Technology, Enugu, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar, Imo State University, Owerri, National Open University, Edi India and Atlas University, U.S.A..

2. He is a seasoned administrator, who rose to the rank of a Director in the Anambra Civil Service.

3, On retirement he returned home to contribute his quota to his fatherland. He established Zims Model Health Care Centre to bring health care closer to his people.

4. He successfully resolved the Okata Umuosu crisis that had defiled all solutions and threatened to tear the community apart.

4. He brokered peace that brought back Umuokeleke Village to the mainstream Umuosu, thereby making Chief Chidi Okekwu to qualify to contest for the post of President General of OEAU (f).

6. HRH has received several awards across the country, most of which are from Nigerian Churches; many of which have benefited from his benevolence. 

7. He is a consummate husband and father.

7. He is a happy family man. He is happily married to Ugoeze Joy Ifesinachi,  nee Ozue and they are blessed with six children. He dotes on his children and would go to any length to satisfy them for as long as their desires are within reasonable and disciplined bounds. His Children have in turn rewarded him with roaring success in their academic careers. None of his children, who has left the classroom has a qualification that is less than first degree. Princess Oluchi Onyejekwu is a Chemical Engineer Prince Nnamdi V. Ibezim is an Electrical/Electronic Engineer, while Princess Chidinma V. Dickson  has  B.sc in Mass. Comm. 

Princess Chinamada Ibezim, Prince Godswill Ibezim and Prince Godspower Ibezim are still in schools.
