THE WOMAN COLUMBA NDUAGUIBE INHERITED HIS LEADERSHIP QUALITIES FROM
She might have passed on five years ago, but the unending memories about her may never fade. Her face, confidence, charisma, exemplary character, courage and boldness may take the next generation to forget. She remains a legend and legends they say don't die. They are simply summoned by God to the mysterious realm called eternity, where they continue their service to humanity.
Ezinne Obodo oma, Charity Nduaguibe, the Late Chair Lady of Umuoka village, Mgbarakuma, was a woman of honor and a patriot, whose invaluable contributions to her community remain laudable. She was a true daughter of the soil in all ramifications of that traditional expression. While she was at this side of divide, she had always had the interest of her people, Umuwayi Umuoka Mgbarakuma at heart. She was their true and dependable leader with whom they pride themselves.
She ruled Umuoka, Mgbarakuma women wing for over 20 years. Not only Umuoka but Mgbarakuma and Alaocha Ubakala women. She was vice Chair Lady, Mgbarakuma Development Union and Financial Secretary, Alaocha Ubakala women wing till her demise
Her life on earth was eventful and impacted positively not only on the Umuoka village and also Mgbarakuma community in particular but Ubakala clan in general and beyond. She was a leader of women, a go getter, a savvy community leader, a consummate strategist and a shinning light. Her personal attributes of diligence, commitment, hard work, confidence, strong moral compass and strong and effective communication skill, stood her out of the crowd, making her a source of inspiration to many.
Indeed the history of Ubakala can never be complete without the chronicles of her patriotic zeal and contributions to the development of the clan.
She would be remembered by history as one who gave an unbiased and exemplary leadership to Umuoka village and Mgbarakuma community
You may be wondering how Mr Columba Nduaguibe, the present President General, Mgbarakuma Development Union (F) and also President, Ubakala improvement Union, Lagos, acquired his leadership qualities. The Great Man Theory on Qualities of a Good Leader claims that leadership qualities are inherited and not created. Mr Columba must have inherited these qualities from Late Ezinne Obodo oma Charity Nduaguibe. She was his mother.

Like her mother, Mr Columba is a good leader and orator. He has replicated his mother's zeal and know-how to pilot the affairs of both Mgbarakuma Development Union(F) and U.I.U, Lagos to success in the last four years, that every Dick and Harry is happy to associate with him.
Not only him but also his other brothers, Calystus, Ugochukwu Chiemele etc. They were born with the characteristics of a leader.
It was Jesse Jackson that said Leadership cannot just go along to get along. Leadership must meet the moral of challenge of the day." Chiemele Nduaguibe is an embodiment of morality and integrity. He made these fine attributes count when he was given the opportunity to pilot the ship of Ubakala Youth League. (2011-2022)
